To request security lighting, call 448-4800. All requests are evaluated to determine if the light can be installed with proper clearances as provided by the National Electric Safety Code. Security lights must be installed on wood poles in existing utility easements and cannot be installed over city or county roads. If the light can be installed, the requester will be given an estimate for cost of installation.
If a group requests the light, they must name one person responsible for billing who will be required to sign a time-and-material contract that includes the request for installation of the light. The requester must pay the estimated installation cost prior to installation and will be required to contact a customer service representative to initiate a security light billing account.
