In 2008, 964 Springs Utilities employees, and their friends and families, volunteered 7,187 hours on 143 community projects. Employees volunteered another 9,752 hours to community organizations as troop leaders, coaches, committee members, or as non-profit board members. For a total of 16,939 volunteer hours in 2008.
