Please note: Funding for the Governor's Insulate Colorado Rebate has been exhausted. No new applications will be processed. Funding for the Colorado Springs Utilities rebate still exists.
Proof of identification
State law mandates that anyone 18 years of age or older must prove lawful presence in the United States in order to receive non-emergency public benefits, which includes rebates from Colorado Springs Utilities.
To prove lawful presence in the United States, you must produce a form of identification accepted by the Colorado Department of Revenue. Visit the Colorado Department of Revenue’s Web site for more information about valid forms of identification.
Rebate guidelines
- Rebate participants must be Springs Utilities customers.
- If the customer makes a purchase between Jan. 1 and Nov. 30, 2009, they have until Dec. 31, 2009 to turn in all rebate paperwork. Anything turned in after the Dec. 31, 2009 deadline will be denied.
- If the customer makes a purchase between Dec. 1 and Dec. 31, 2009, they have until Jan. 31, 2010 to turn in all rebate paperwork. Anything turned in after the Jan. 31, 2010 deadline will be denied.
- Since all rebates are subject to availability of funds, rebates may end at any time without notice.
- Customers that pay for services through a Home Owner's Association may apply. Please use this letter to have credit applied to HOA account.
- Each rebate has its own set of rules and regulations which are detailed on the rebate application.
- Please read ALL rules and program details before purchasing or installing any appliance or device.
- Landlords that wish to participate, but do not have a Colorado Springs Utilities account, may apply. All existing rules apply and landlords will be required to complete and submit an IRS form W-9.
- For all rebates, the purchase cost of a product is the only cost that is eligible for a rebate.
- Some of the costs that do not qualify for rebates include, but are not limited to, installation, labor, tax, delivery, etc.
