Builder Incentive Program

Helping builders construct high-efficiency homes

Efficient homes help customers save on utility bills and reduce our community's overall energy use. Our Builder Incentive Program partially offsets upfront costs to construct high-efficiency homes. Qualified homes are eligible for energy incentives beginning at $200.

A bonus incentive is available to those homes that are certified to meet ENERGY STAR, National Green Building Standard (NGBS), Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) or Passive House (one bonus per home).

Homes can also receive additional incentives for installation of heat pumps for hot water production and for home heating and cooling as well as 0.8 gallon-per-flush toilets.

Homes designed and built to operate efficiently using only electricity and located within our natural gas service territory have access to an incentive totaling more than $4,500 when meeting specific requirements. See the application for full details.

Interested homebuilders can apply or call (719) 448-4800 for more information. Incentives are not available to home buyers.
