Midway-Kelker Transmission Line Project

The Midway-Kelker Transmission Line Project will upgrade the existing 115kV transmission line to a double circuit  115kV/230kV transmission line to increase import capability into the system. The upgrade will replace all existing wooden poles with steel monopoles. Additionally, we will upgrade equipment within our Nixon, Fountain, Bradley and Kelker Substations to support this increased energy load. 

The Midway-Kelker Transmission Line project supports the Sustainable Energy Plan's goal to provide safe and reliable energy systems. Construction is scheduled to begin by Fall 2025.
