We are excited to offer a limited opportunity to purchase one of 200 commemorative Martin Drake Power Plant bricks and support Project COPE at the same time.
For nearly a century, the Martin Drake Power Plant supported Colorado Springs' growth, attracting new residents and businesses. It symbolized stability and community growth, with generations of employees forming deep bonds and a strong sense of camaraderie. The plant provided jobs, purpose, and belonging until its closure on Sept. 1, 2022. Despite its shutdown, the plant's impact on the city and employees remains a testament to its historical significance and vital role in the development of our community.
Now you can own a piece of history. Each brick is $109.50 ($9.50 pays for the auction house service fee, and the remaining $100 benefits Project COPE).
