In 2024, you can save money, improve your home and improve efficiency by taking advantage of our rebates. If you’re thinking about upgrading appliances in your home, it has literally never been a better time to consider making a change.
Our electric and natural gas customers can enjoy significant savings by upgrading the insulation in their homes. Insulating is the first step to an efficient home and customers will notice an almost immediate impact on their winter energy bill after making this upgrade.
Customers can now earn up to $1,500 if they replace insulation in both their attics and walls. This is a 275% increase of the $400 rebate offered in 2023. If you replace only your attic insulation or just your wall insulation, the amount is $750.
To qualify for the rebate, the work must be done by a Colorado contractor and the insulation must meet U.S. Department of Energy standards. Attic insulation must include bypass air sealing and have an R-value of R-49, while exterior wall insulation must have an R-value of R-13.

This year, we have doubled the rebate amounts offered for furnaces & heat pumps. We now offer a $2,000 rebate for cold climate heat pumps, which are well-suited to heat homes in frigid temperatures and are our most efficient option.
You can also consider an air source heat pump, which can be up to four times more efficient than furnaces in the winter and can cool your home in the summer months. We offer $1,000 rebates for both ducted and ductless heat pumps.
Finally, for new ENERGY STAR furnaces, we’re now offering a $500 rebate, up from the $250 rebates offered in 2023.

Like our HVAC rebates, you can save even more by making a more efficient choice. Heat pump water heaters are twice as efficient as high-efficiency natural gas water heaters. We’re now adding to those savings by offering a $750 rebate, an increase of $550 from the rebate offered in 2023.
We’ve also doubled the rebate totals for qualified natural gas ENERGY STAR water heaters, from a $50 rebate to $100.

We’ve also added a new rebate option for our commercial customers this year that can lead to big upfront and long-term savings.
The new Water Management & Efficiency Technology Rebate covers 50% of equipment costs up to $10,000 per project. Qualified equipment includes cooling tower conductivity controllers, water leak monitoring and leak detection technology, sub-meters and other water efficiency technology.
