Downtown Service Center to Reopen

Customers have given us feedback that they like in-person service, and we are listening. 

We’re happy to announce the downtown Customer Service Center, 111 S. Cascade Ave., will reopen January 23 to provide in-person service. 

Hours will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. To adjust for staffing needs, our Customer Call Center hours for (719) 448-4800 will be adjusted to 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. as well. 

In 2020, we closed the downtown service center in response to COVID-19 for safety, and as a cost-saving measure.

As a community-owned, municipal utility, it’s important that we meet our customers where they are, and in person service has been a valued option for decades.

When customers come into the lobby for their utilities’ business, we will also offer information on efficiency rebates and customer assistance. 

While many are seeking to work with us face-to-face, we know many customers choose online solutions to engage us. This year, we plan to launch upgrades to My Account, our online account management service that gives customers more self-service options for their 24/7 needs. 

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to customer service, and we strive to meet our customers where they are. We look forward to seeing you at the downtown center!
