Inside, we have interactive displays focused on improving energy and water efficiency in your home, allowing you to test efficient appliances & technology before buying them.

Colorado Springs is a semi-arid, high-mountain desert, but that doesn’t mean that we advise only planning landscapes with cacti and rock.

There are a wide variety of water-wise plants that save water and create relaxing and beautiful spaces around your home.

The facility also offers five do-it-yourself landscape displays featuring low-water lawns, plant beds and other landscape elements.

Each display offers plans, details and tips to design and care for each of the landscapes.

The five landscape designs include:

  • Low-Cost Landscape
  • Contemporary Landscape
  • Deer Resistant/Fire Wise
  • Easy Care
  • Prairie
