Through our Sustainable Energy Plan, we will:

As part of this plan, we intend to make carbon-free energy more than 60% of our portfolio by 2030. We will reach this milestone by taking the following steps:
- Continue to add utility-scale solar to our energy portfolio
- Expand our supply of wind-generated electricity
- Increase battery energy storage options to ensure reliability
- Retire all coal generated plants
Air quality and emissions reduction
Our emissions from generating electricity are already lower today than ever before.
For decades we have worked with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and other local stakeholders to improve our air quality and comply with regulations.
We meet air quality expectations through effective operations and maintenance, pollution controls, fuel selection and renewable energy.
We are committed to continuing to implement new technologies aimed at reducing our emissions.
