Edward W. Bailey Water Treatment Plant

Facility information

The Edward W. Bailey Water Treatment Plant is our newest water treatment plant, built in 2016.

The plant treats raw water delivered to Colorado Springs and was built as part of the Southern Delivery System project, which supplies our community and surrounding communities to the south with water from the Pueblo Reservoir.

The facility can treat up to 50 million gallons of water each day, and could one day be expanded to treat 100 million gallons of water a day.

The new facility uses the most current treatment technology to deliver the highest quality drinking water to our customers.

Building name: "Edward W. Bailey Water Treatment Plant." There are glass doors and a red awning on a tan brick building with melted snow outside.Facility tours
