Performance
Cashmere sage has beautiful flowers when in bloom. It's upright growth adds an interesting shape to the landscape. It seeds prolifically, so the flower stalks should be cut back before the seeds mature.
Maintenance
Cashmere sage can spread prolifically by seed. To prevent this, we cut the entire plant, leaves and all, to ground level after flowering. The plant will re-grow a nice set of leaves that will persist until winter. Cut any old leaves and stems to ground level in late winter before new growth starts.
