Hardy Plumbago
Hardy plumbago is a fantastic short perennial flower that can be used as a groundcover.
For most of the summer, it grows as a glossy green mound of attractive leaves. In late summer, the plant is covered with striking blue flowers. As the weather turns cool in the fall, the leaves turn a spectacular bronze-red.
Hardy plumbago will spread slowly through underground stems, and can make a low maintenance groundcover if planted closely together.
