Performance
There are several robust plants growing at the Water Wise Demonstration Garden. It is quite beautiful. It is most eye-catching in fall when the leaves turn a radiant gold color.
Although it may be difficult to find for sale at nurseries, it is worth searching for it. It takes up to three years after transplanting until it becomes a mature, full plant.

Cut stems to ground level in late winter before new growth begins in spring.
