Performance
Moon carrot is an interesting-looking plant and generates much curiosity at the Xeriscape Demonstration Garden. It is well adapted to Colorado Springs climate. It generates a lot of seedlings which must be thinned aggressively.
Because it dies after it flowering during its second growing season, plant it in places where you don't need a permanent plant.
Maintenance
Plants die after flowering and should be removed in the fall. This plant spreads by seed prolifically, so remove unwanted seedlings while they are still small.
