Purple Ornamental Oregano
Purple ornamental oregano is a subshrub with small, round aromatic leaves.
In late summer, it produces showy spikes of tiny pink flowers with reddish-purple bracts. The bracts last longer than the flowers, making the plant quite eye-catching late into the growing season.
The plant has good deer resistance and is long-lived. The flower stems may need support to stay upright in wetter conditions.
