Electric standards

The Electric Line Extension and Service Standards are provided to assist customers, architects, engineers, contractors, developers and inspectors in planning and installing electric service. If you have any questions regarding the electric standards, send us an email.
The electric interconnection standards are now located in Chapter 13 – “Interconnection Requirements of Customer-Owned Generation” of the Electric Line Extension and Service Standards book.
Proposed revisions to the standards are listed in the Electric Revisions - 2025 Edition. The effective date for revisions is January 1, 2025 unless otherwise noted.
Natural gas standards
