Family Functional Backyard
This large, sloped backyard was transformed by creating three levels with retaining walls. This approach created more usable space by flattening the terraced areas. Turfgrass was retained on the center level, reducing water use and maintenance. Ornamental grasses and shrubs were planted in the mulched areas to enhance the landscape.
