Wine and Roses Weigela
Wine and roses weigela is a medium-sized shrub with dark burgundy-purple leaves. In early summer, bright pink flowers bloom on last year's wood. The bright flowers contrast nicely with the dark leaves.
This shrub needs regular moisture, so it might be a good selection for a planting bed that gets regular overspray from lawn sprinklers. It does not perform well in dry sites.
